Minnie O'Donnell
SPARTANBURG, SC--

Minnie O'Donnell went to be with God on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Windsor House, Spartanburg. Born is Chester, SC, on August 29, 1915, she later moved to Staten Island, NY. She was employed as a chef. After marrying James P. O'Donnell in 1957, they moved to Shohola, PA, and eventually retired in Clifton, SC. Minnie was a friend and trusted servant in a fellowship of recovery since 1954. She dedicated her life to those who suffer from alcoholism.

Minnie was predeceased by her husband, James P. O'Donnell; her son, George Gann; and two great-grandsons, Daniel Gann and Johnny Harris. She left behind her daughter-in-law, Catherine Gann; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many whose lives she has touched in her extended recovery family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Winyah Community Hospice; or Faith homes.
Her body was donated to MUSC for research.

A memorial service will be held Sunday May 2, 2010 at 3:00 PM at 349 East St. John Street, Spartanburg SC.
