Vernon will lay in state at the Galbreaith-Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 E. I-20 Service Road North, in Willow Park from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M., Friday, November 23. A graveside committal service celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, at Annetta Cemetery in Annetta.
Vernon was born on July 1, 1927 in Burneyville, Oklahoma to Vernon Clarence, Sr., and Lois Lee Rowe. Vernon worked for 40 years as a toolmaker for General Dynamics Corporation. Vernon will be remembered for his love of Western Life including horses and horse racing. Most of all, he will be remembered for his devotion toward his family.
In addition to his parents, Vernon was preceded in death by his wife, Loyce; his brother, Joe Rowe; and by his son-in-law, Scott Cartwright.
