Mabel Laura Davidson June 14, 1916 - May 17, 2007 Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Mish Funeral Home, 120 Minner Ave., for Mabel Davidson. Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Wednesday, May 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. Mabel was born in Aurora, MO and spent her early years in and around Kansas and Oklahoma before moving to Arizona and on to Bakersfield in 1959. She was employed as a waitress and then involved with child care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; son, Elwood; and grandson, Phillip. Mabel is survived by her daughter, Lula Rogers; and son, Howard Street; two grandsons, Bill and Scott; two granddaughters, Jenni and Vicki; ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with another due in July; one sister, Alice, in Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert of Bakersfield and Raymond of Arizona; plus many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Hoffmann Hospice for attending to her needs, and the staff of Park View Julian Convalescent Hospital for the loving care they gave our mother.
