Faye Smith was the loving daughter of Edna Endicott and Earl Allen. She was born June 22, 1937 in Puritan Mines, Mingo County, West Virginia. She was a Majorette and graduate of Gilbert High School in Gilbert, West Virginia. During that time, she met and fell in love with her husband of 63 years, Robert Eugene Smith. They were married on December 30, 1955. Faye was a proud Military spouse for 34 years and a member of the DAR. You could always find her, either in her garden or in her art room, creating beautiful flowers and landscapes.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughter Debra Sue Smith-Coussens of Katy, Texas; two grandsons, Cody H. Coussens, also of Katy, Texas and Adam Smith of South Bend, Indiana.

She passed away quietly, at home, surrounded by a loving family on October 8, 2018. Her ashes will be interred at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery Killeen, Texas. Condolences may be expressed at www.SchmidtFuneralHome.net.
