Evelyn Shaddock Hicks, 98, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home in Crockett. Evelyn was born May 18, 1920 in Lake Charles, LA to Edward Jennings Shaddock and Frances Melissa Nantz. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Houston Hicks; son, James Houston Hicks, Jr.; and parents, E.J. and Fannie Shaddock.
Memorial services for Evelyn Shaddock Hicks will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Central Baptist Church, Rev. John Goss, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pedigo Cemetery.
