Services Conducted for A. Graham Sutherland, Retired Jackson Farmer
A. Graham Sutherland, a retired farmer of the Town of Jackson, died Wednesday night, March 17, at his home on Route 313, Annaquassitoke, following a short illness. He was born June 18, 1888 in Shushan, son of Orrin K. and Emma Graham Sutherland, and was a member and former trustee of Shushan United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl MacAuley; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Rogers of Walton and Mrs. Eleanor Brown of Cambridge; three sons, Gardner, Arnold and Earl of Scotia; two brothers, George of Shushan and Wagner of Scotia; two sisters, Mrs. Frances MacLaren of Troy and Mrs. Anna Ackley of Salem; 17 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 o'clock at Shushan United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Oliver Warren, pastor. Interment will be in Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge, in the spring.
