Janice Bragg Dixon, age 73, of Shady Spring, WV, passed away at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley on Saturday, August 29, 2015.

Born on November 2, 1941, in Pemberton, she was the daughter of the late Royal D. Vaught and Sarah Gladys Lilly Vaught.

Mrs. Dixon was a former employee of Elliott's Supermarket at Daniels, and was a member of the Shady Spring Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mrs. Dixon was resident of the Shady Spring area for most of her adult life, and enjoyed fishing, attending church, and baking cakes.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Joe Bragg, a granddaughter Drema Richmond, a son Tony Bragg, by brothers, Donald Vaught, Rev. Royal Vaught, and Ronald Vaught, by sisters, Ramona Wheeler, and Audra Ellamae Martin.

Surviving are her children, Billy Bragg and his wife Donna of Liberty, Kentucky, Carol Richmond and her husband Silas of Shady Spring, Elizabeth Gail Plumley and her husband Carlos of Shady Spring, Debra Stadler and her husband Paul of Irish Mountain.

12 grandchildren including Bobby Richmond and his wife Theresa who were her caregivers, many great-grandchildren, two brothers, Doug Vaught and his wife Doris of Louisa, Virginia, and James Vaught and his wife Evelyn of Mabscott, two sisters, Lois Anita Hazelwood of Beckley, and Joyce Elzora of Eugene, Oregon
