Bobbie LaNelle "Susie" Miller, daughter of Billy Don Rice and the late Anna Florence Rice was born October 27, 1958 in Plainview TX. She attended Texas public schools in Garland, Kermit and Electra. She graduated Electra High School in 1977. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She shared her love for Jesus with many people! She was a member of First Baptist Church in Electra, TX.
Bobbie will be remembered for her contagious laugh and smile. She saw the good in everyone, even her Dallas Cowboys! She had a generous spirit and a fun personality! She was loved by many.
After complications with pneumonia, Bobbie peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 14th, 2018 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Florence Reed Rice.
Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her sons: Donald Lynn Cook Jr of Electra & Christopher Dean Cook of Burleson, TX, Daughter-in-laws: April Cook & Julie Cook , Grandchildren: Kaley Cook, Kristen Cook, Madison Mahan, Christopher Dean Cook Jr, Alyssa Cook, MacKenzie Cook, Jacob Cook, Treyce Cook & his wife Alex. Dad: Billy Rice, Siblings: Michael Rice, Billy "Will" Rice, Linda Trotter, Deanna Swenson, James "Greg" Rice and their spouses. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & friends.
Visitation is scheduled on Saturday, November 17th at 11:30. It will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home in Vernon, TX. She will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm at Wilbarger Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Larry Nelson from Harmony Baptist Church, Arlington TX.
