Bernice Carter, 75, of West Terre Haute, formerly of Brunswick, GA, died November 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born in West Terre Haute on October 2, 1943, to Ralph Fleming and Julia Drengcas Fleming. She was a former elementary school teacher and taught in various schools. She loved antiques, enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, and was known to “live life to the fullest.”
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bruce Carter. She is survived by 2 sons, Ralph (Tiffany) Harrison of Brunswick, GA and Jerry Harrison; 1 brother, Richard Paul Fleming; 3 grandchildren, Carter Harrison, Hannah Harrison, Jami (Joseph) Hickman, all of Brunswick, GA; 1 great-grandchild, Katherine Hickman of Brunswick, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10 am at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton.
