Annie was born August 31, 1928 to the union of Olan and Ila Cook Rucker in Wheeling, LA and she passed from this life on November 13, 2018 at Haven Nursing Home in Columbia.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbia. She enjoyed cooking for family, friends, and drop ins. She was a member of the Farm Bureau Association and the Cowbell Association. She loved to clean and shop and she always had a cup of coffee ready for friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Cooper; her son: Jerry Cooper; her parents; brother: Roy Rucker.
She is survived by her brother: Wilbur Rucker; sister-in-law: Mary Dee Rucker; sisters: Beatrice Pigno, Joyce Leger, Lois Brownfield, Syble Crain, Margaret Neal, and Mable Terral; grandson: Logan Cooper and his wife Jessica; daughter-in-law: Teresa Cooper; great-grandson: Cole Cooper; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Causey, Alex Causey, Philip Raeisghasen, Jesse Rucker, Jeffery Lenard, and Jackie Lawrence.
