Marian was a daughter of James and Helen McGurrin. She married Robert "Bob" Edwards on May 21, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Marian is survived by four children, Tom Edwards, Carol (Dave) Scherer, John (Julie) Edwards and Judy (Roger) Whitby; son-in-law, Tom Caho; six grandchildren, Paul, Jason, Ryan, Kevin, Eion and Jaclyn; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers; John McGurrin and Marty McGurrin.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Kay Caho; six brothers; and one sister.
Marian was a Clerical Supervisor in the Navy Department of Defense during World War II.
She was a very avid euchre and pinochle player. She was also member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
