A native Sacramentan, Vivian Buletti was born to Swiss immigrants Mary and John Buletti on October 2, 1928. Vivian leaves behind a beloved nephew, Tom Buletti, several nieces and nephews, and her friend, Sharon Yeargin who loved and cared for her in her later years. Her brother, Ed, and sister, Vera, preceded Vivian in death.While she attended Sacramento High and Sacramento City College, she worked for Parks & Rec as a playground director and lifeguard. In 1943, Vivian became girls ping pong champion. She later worked for Bon March‚, Roos Brothers, and Pacific Bell which later became AT&T.

Vivian retired from a management position at Pacific Bell after a successful 32-year career. In her retirement, she loved to golf, and although she was not the best, she was very proud of her hole-in-one at Bing Maloney. She was also an accomplished equestrian, who spent 20 years as pan of the Folsom Lake Trail Patrol. Vivian was an instructor for the patrol and was Red Cross certified. in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Sports Safety training. As a dedicated volunteer, Vivian became president of the Sacred Heart Altar Society, the Dante Club Ladies Auxiliary, and the Mercy Hospital Guild where she worked as the Recruitment and Membership Chair. She also volunteered at the Red Cross as an instructor, as a server at Casa de los Ninos, and she was also an honorary member of the Swiss Ladies Society. Vivian's life was dedicated to the service of others.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church located at 39th and J St. on November 16, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please send donations directly to the Mercy Foundation to support the Vivian Buletti Memorial Scholarships for Cristo Rey High School Sacramento, 3400 Data Dr. Rancho Cordova, CA, 95670.
