Carrie, age 59, died of cancer at her home in Sturgis. She was the daughter of Tandy and Francis (Swesey) Carney. She married Francis James Roden on June 5, 1976, in Billings, Montana but later divorced. She married William Harold Wickstrom. She married William C. Martel on September 21, 1994, in Custer County, South Dakota. She married Glenn Spencer. Survivors include her husband, her children, Charles Wickstrom, Victor Roden, and LaVonne Jacob, her mother, her brother, Mike Carney, and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her father, one brother, and one sister. Funeral services were held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
