Roger Kidd, 83, Williamsport, passed away in the Williamsport Health and Rehabilitation Center, Williamsport on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 4:50 PM.
Roger was born in Bell Farm, of Wayne County, Kentucky on March 25, 1935. He was the son of the late William Albert and Hellen Emma (Blevins) Kidd. Roger was educated in Tennessee and Kentucky and had more recently resided in Williamsport. He had lived in Fowler and West Lebanon before moving to Williamsport.
Roger worked as a crane operator for Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica for 40 years, retiring in 2002.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. Roger also enjoyed watching old western movies.
On March 6, 1959, Roger married Clara Elana Burnett in Monticello, KY. Clara preceded Roger in death on September 16, 2008.
Roger leaves behind a son; a daughter; two grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Atkinson and Shirley Sulffridge; and four brothers, David Wayne Kidd, Stevie Sydney Kidd, Kenneth Kidd and Denver Kidd.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastors David Adams and David Cheatwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Fowler Cemetery, Fowler, IN.
