Lewis (Lewie) John Morris, 67, passed away suddenly on November 9, 2018 in Tucson, AZ.

Lewis was born to Delores and Frank W. Morris on April 10, 1951 in Evanston, WY. He lived most of his life in the Hudson, WY area where he met and married Delma (Majdic) Morris in September of 1972 and together they had 2 daughters. They later divorced in September of 2005.

Lewis worked hard and played even harder, living life to the fullest with a smile on his face and a quick joke to offer. He worked most of his life in the road construction industry starting with Brasel and Sims Construction which later turned into Circle P Paving. He was a mechanic for Intermountain Electric then Oftendal Construction. He also tended bar at both the El Toro and the Union Bar in Hudson.

He was a volunteer fireman for the Hudson Fire Department and also enjoyed chariot racing where he met many life long friends. When he wasn't working on the road he was helping on the farm with haying, gathering and branding cows. Later in life he met and married Patti Hughes in August of 2012 and after retiring they resided in Tuscon, AZ. He will be greatly missed but is at peace in the hands of the Lord and the arms of his heavenly family.

Lewis is survived by his wife Patti, daughters; Virginia Wolbert and Paula (Cory) Landis, brothers; Lester (Edna) Morris and Mark (Jeanette) Morris, sister-in-law Sheri Morris, sisters; Reva (Jim) Arnold and Edith (Don) Van Riper. Grandchildren; David Kotunok, Vikki (Dane) Herring, Natasha & Shawnia Kotunok, Nevaeh Morris, Tyler Landis and Trenton Landis. He had 2 great grandchildren; Tabitha and Viviann Herring along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents Delores and Frank W. Morris and his brother Frank Wayne Morris.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial for Lewis will be held in Tuscon, AZ for his family and friends there. A celebration of life will be held in Lewis' honor on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hudson Town Hall in Hudson, WY. Please bring a picture and/or memory to share with the family.
