“Buddy” was 80 years old when he left us. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War, He and his wife Peggy owned Elliott’s Bait and Tackle Shop, and he was a member of Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge. For many years Buddy would never miss the Wednesday Flea Market in Plant City, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and playing practical jokes on his wife. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy Elliott; children, Theresa Elliott of Plant City, and Gerald Elliott (Connie) of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, Gerald Elliott II, Cody Elliott, Keely Elliott, Christopher Alderman, and Shanna Baricska; and many loving great grandchildren, family, and friends. A funeral service with Masonic honors was held Wednesday, November 14 at Hopewell Funeral Home, Plant City, Committal with military honors to follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens,
