Hilda F. Hill of Ozark, Arkansas died Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Webb City Baptist Church. She was born August 21, 1929 in the Adams Community in Franklin County, Arkansas to Ernest and Gussie Hans Trotter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Thurman Hill; a daughter, Wanda Louise Hill; seven brothers; five sisters; a great grandson James Thurman Sanders; and a son-in-law, Charles Parrish.
Hilda is survived by four daughters, Velma Parrish of Ozark, Betty Flynn and husband Birley of Branch, Patsy Looney and husband Gary of Charleston, and Reba Sanders and husband Bobby of Charleston; two brothers, Jim Trotter of Ft Smith and Gene Trotter of Haysville, KS.; nine grandchildren, Angela Weseman, Sherri Lane, Joe Parrish, Shelli and Quentin Fowler, Jason Looney, Jennifer Brown, and Justin and Tyler Sanders; eighteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many family, friends and close neighbors. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed by everyone that knew her especially her family.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Simpson officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery. Family will visit with friends 9:00 AM Saturday, November 10th prior to the service at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial St. in Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Joe Parrish, Quentin Fowler, Jason Looney, Justin and Tyler Sanders, and Ron Mantooth.
