He was Baptized at All Saints church in South Lambeth on November 15th, 1901.
Stanley Bignell was a British Home Child emigrated to Canada by Fegan Homes. On April 16, 1913, Stanley departed Liverpool aboard the Lake Manitoba, arriving in Quebec on April 27, 1913. From there, Stanley travelled with his party to the Fegan Receiving/Distributing Home in Toronto, Ontario.
Stanley married Ethel Ellen Nicholls on January 01st, 1927 in Windsor, Ontario. They had a family together. They divorced in 1946. Ethel remarried to Fred Bennett in 1947. Stanley also remarried to Esther L. Haller.
Sidney served with the Canadian Air Force, World War ll.
