George Ronald Metcalf, Sr., 66, of Five Forks Road, Pamplin, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was the loving husband of Sharon Foster Metcalf.

Born in Farmville, December 23, 1951, he was a son of Marie Finch and the late George Walter Metcalf.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, George Ronald “Ron” Metcalf, Jr. and wife, Beth of Phenix; one sister, Cheryle Metcalf Dixon and husband, Jerry of Charlotte Court House; two grandchildren, Emily MaKenzie Metcalf and Michael Kole Metcalf and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private burial will take place at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at his residence through Friday evening.
