Mr. Billy Edward (Bill) Moore, age 79, of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at his residence. He was born July 04, 1939, in McMinnville, TN, was retired from Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, and loved his co-workers dearly. Bill was a beekeeper, a rabbit hunter, was a lover of dogs and family. A member of McMinnville Church of God at Locust Street, he was strong in his faith and shared his love of the Lord with everyone. He was a fifty-year member of Warren Masonic Lodge No. 125 F & AM and the McMinnville Chapter No. 349 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents Walter Preston and Ellie Irene Hennessee Moore, wife of 58 years Billie Frances “Honey” Moore, sister Shelby Jean Holder Craven, brothers Walter Preston Moore, Jr., Jesse James Moore, Paul Franklin Moore, and Dwight Stephen Moore, and granddaughter Katie Dishman.

He is survived by his children Lesia (Randy) Donalson, Jan (Dave) Phillips, and Kim (Duane) Dishman, grandchildren Josh (Maranda) Moore, Jessica Dishman, Jordan Donalson, Kyle (Makenzi) Phillips, and Paige Phillips, great grandchildren Madison and Liam Moore, sister Juanita Boren, brother Tony Moore, sister-in-law Betty Moore, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral service is 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 09, 2018 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Steve Breedlove and Jeff Page will officiate. Interment will follow at Mtn. View Cemetery. An Eastern Star service will be at 6:30 P.M. Thursday evening and a Masonic service to follow at 7:00 P.M. The Moore family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

Employees of Dr. Pepper Bottling Company (both active and retired) are requested to serve as honorary pallbearers.
