Born to James Washington and Beulah Vesta Hendon Bailey, Edith Bailey Miller, of Marengo, formerly of Johnstown, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Woodside Village Care Center in Mount Gilead. She was 89 years old.

A retired practical nurse in Columbus, she was a member of the Marengo Church of Christ.

She married Gale Clouse on June 11, 1927. He predeceased her in 1959. She married Clarence Orville Miller on Nov. 19, 1990. He passed away on Jan. 5, 1997.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Franklin Clouse; and three daughters, Beulah VonVille, Bernice Reichel and Dorothy Stiffler; plus six sisters and one brother.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy Lloyd of Columbus; sister, Ferne Glaze of Croton, Ohio; son-in-law, Charles Stiffler of Cardington, Ohio; plus many grand and great-grandchildren.
