Gary was born in Lindsay, OK to Garner and Gena Faye (Newby) Pettigrew on May 11, 1940 and went home to be with Lord on November 3, 2018.
Gary drove for Transcon and Chief Frieghtlines for 17 years. He was in law enforcement 20 years and was The Lake Ranger at Okemah Lake from 1986 till
he retired in 2002. Gary and Paulette were married 27 years, August 10, 2018.
Gary is survived by:
His wife Paulette Pettigrew of the home
One son: Garner Luther Pettigrew
Two stepdaughter Dana Hearrell and Tania Lee
One sister Louantha Kerr and husband Jim
Four grandchildren Kristin, Reilly, Danielle, and Paul
Seven great-grandchildren
And a Host of Cousins
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, OK with Jim Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
