The Founder of Cowboys & Cowgirls Ring Of Honor.

Mr. Anderson, 95 years of age, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Scott & White Hospital. He was born on Sept. 23, 1923 in Belton, Texas. Only son of Troy Grady Anderson and Estelle Alma Truelove. He graduated in Salado High School and at the age of 17, he started his own business. He has various types of business all his life (Trucking business, Carpet business, Satellite, Pest Control business and few more). He was a hard working business man. He also worked in Hollywood with Gene Autry as a Stunt man for years. He loved to travel. His passion was to fly his own private plane. He obtained his pilot license at young age. He liked music and even composed several songs and recorded at his own recording company (Howdy Records) in McAllen, Texas. He also likes sports, football (Dallas Cowboys) and NASCAR. In year 2000, he founded the Cowboys & Cowgirls Ring of Honor and later became Cowboys & Cowgirls Hall of Fame and appointed Jim Howell as President of his organization.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonita Kay Anderson in 1950.

Survivors include his wife, Julita Eusebio Anderson; a daughter, Valeria Miller, a son, JayDee Anderson, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, also his pet cat, Junior Anderson that he loved so much.

Private Services for Jimmie David Anderson, 95, of Temple were held Thursday, Oct. 25, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Oscar Valeriano and Steve Dejardins officiating. Burial was in North Belton Cemetery.
