Jean Horner Smith, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away November 1, 2018 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born January 25, 1929 in West Point, MS a daughter of the late Luke and Lottie (Wiley) Horner.
Jean was a warrior’s wife, a wife of a military career husband, who was dedicated to her family. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star and Ladies Oriental Shrine.
Surviving is her son and his wife, Don and Judi Smith of Elkton, MD and her adopted family: Andrew and Kyle Regan and Ben Vierheller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Smith, daughter Lola Jean Tunison and sister-in-law Lola Boyle.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton.
