Chester Mack Arthur Clark, 82, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, March 23, 2002 in the Heritage Hall Nursing Home. He was born May 21, 1919 in the Cornwall section of Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Arthur F. and Delia Clark.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his son, James A. Graves, Sr. He is survived by his grandsons, James A. Graves, Jr. of New London, N.C. and Michael Graves of Roanoke; granddaughter, Angie Graves of West Palm Beach, Fla.; great-grandsons, Joshua James Graves and James Michael Graves; daughter-in-law, Daphne Vaughan of Lexington; special friends, Barbaree Wilson and Kay Stanley, both of Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002 from the graveside in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002 at the Lomax Funeral Home.
