WHEELER, Joey J., age 56 of Kettering passed away Tuesday October 30, 2018 after a long illness. He was born November 20, 1961 in Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Wheeler, on May 20, 2017. He is survived by a son, Christopher Roberts, daughter Caitlain Roberts, his mother, Barbara Joann Wheeler; sister and brother-in-law Cathy and Clancy Nash; a nephew SSG (US Army, retired) Danny (Dianna) Nash, their children Crystal and Wyatt; a niece, Denise Nash and her children Makayla and Micah; aunt, Vera Bond of Murphy, NC as well as several cousins and special friends Danny and Arvinia Hicks. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM, with Christopher Wheeler (cousin) officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
