She married Maurice Gardner of Taylor June 19, 1941 in the Mesa Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They moved to Heber and lived there most of the time since then. She has been a homemaker and companion to her husband. Together they served in the church wherever assigned. She loved playing the organ and working with crafts. She especially enjoyed woodwork. She loved being with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
Inez is survived by her husband, Maurice Gardner of Heber; one son, Michael (Tomye) Gardner of Taylor; one sister, Cherie Webb of Lakeside; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
