Mrs. E. Robertson Dies At Collins

COLLINS - Mrs. Elmon Robertson, 47, died Wednesday at the Covington county hospital after an illness of six weeks.
Born and reared in this county she had lived in Hattiesburg prior to illness. She was a Baptist.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Olive Baptist church Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. C. O. Estes, Rev. A. B. Pierce and Rev. B. H. Stringer. Interment will be in the Blakeney cemetery with Johns Funeral home in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until time for the service.

Survivors include her husband, Elmon Robertson, Hattiesburg: two sons, Sgt. Faye Robertson, U. S. Army, Ft. Benning, Alford Robertson, Hattiesburg; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. McQueen, Collins; four sisters, Mrs. Lester Shoemake, Mrs. Herman Johnson, both of Hattiesburg, Mrs. E. C. Strebeck, and Mrs. Van Herrin, both of Collins; one brother, Dale McQueen, Collins.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
