Daniel (Danny Earl) Herrin, 62, of Macon, Missouri passed away Wednesday October 24, 2018 at University Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Danny was born July 31, 1956 at Samaritan Hospital Macon, MO, the son of Daniel Edward Herrin and Edna Earl Herrin. He attended Macon schools and later attended Truman State University, graduating with a BA in Business Administration. He owned and operated Computer Corner in Moberly, MO for several years before the 1995 Tornado closed the store. He later served as Computer Services Manager for the City of Macon before transferring to employment with the State of Missouri.

He was a lifelong member of Macon First Baptist Church, and the Lord and his children were the loves of his life.

He is survived by his son, one daughter, and many other cousins and relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Macon, with Pastor Phil Bray officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Macon. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Randy Johnson Memorial or the First Baptist Church of Macon.
