Brian Dewayne Carter age 55 of Pisgah died Sunday, October 28 at Highland's Medical Center. Funeral services are Wednesday at 1 pm ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bud Durham officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12 to 8 pm Tuesday and 10 am until service time on Wednesday.

Survivors include wife, Connie Carter, daughters, Candice Carter Corbitt(Davy), Whitney Carter, fiance, Kevin Sayre, grandchildren, Nolan and Aiden Corbitt, mother, Betty Carter, brothers, Terry Carter(Bonnie), Davy Carter(Annette), In-laws, Bill and Eloise Steele, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Rodney and Lorna Murphey, Dewayne Sargent, Loretta White, nieces and nephews, Andy Carter, Matt Carter, Shaun Carter, Stephanie Maples, Kristin Tebbetts, Alex, Lucas, and Sophia Murphey, Raina Mason, Jessica White, Joseph White and Anthony White, several great-nephews and great-nieces. Brian was loved by all and loved them back.

Brian was a machinist by trade and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Carter and nephew, Chad Carter.
