Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Williams and Southall Funeral Home
in Thibodaux and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Moses Baptist Church.
Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the
church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Breaux Brown of Thibodaux; four daughters,
Norma Jean, Brenda and Jennifer Smith, all of Thibodaux, and Lakita Fusiler of
Houma; eight sons, Scudy Jr., Milton, Gary, Daryl Paul, Christopher, Melvin Lee
Brown, Murphy and Ferrante Matthews, all of Thibodaux; four stepchildren, Alton
and Juy Breaux of Arlington, Texas, Shawn Breaux of Thibodaux and Tony Breaux of
Mansfield, Texas; four sisters, Leila Azemar, Gertrude Brown, Edna and Ida
Robinson, all of Thibodaux; and one adopted grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Louise Robinson Brown; three
brothers, Murphy Brown, Freddie Price and Gregory Robinson; and three sisters,
Dorothy Howard, Doris Brown Johnson and Delores Price.
He was a retired welder and was a member of Moses Baptist Church.
