Doris Joan Silverston was the daughter of the late Marcus and Anne Goldstein Myers. She was a graduate of SUNY Albany and had been employed as a school teacher in Niskayuna, Schenectady as well as at Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady. Doris was a life member of Hadassah, a member of the sisterhood at Congregation Gates of Heaven, the Alumni Association at SUNY Albany, NYSTA, and PAP Corp.
Doris is survived by her husband; 2 daughters; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
