She was born May 28, 1918, in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas A. and Margaret Richter Boehner.
She married Harold F. Marting in 1941 in Gladstone, Neb.; he preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Marting, a graduate of Springfield High School, owned and managed the Travelodge Motel in Mount Vernon from 1965-71 along with her husband.
She then worked as a bookkeeper for Roberts Brothers Clothing Store from 1971 until her retirement in 1984.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk, Iowa, and was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Oak Ridge Cemetery, the Rev. Patrick Foder officiating.
