Mr. Marting was a member of Mount Vernon Elks Club and Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; three sons, Gary, of Arlington Heights; Wayne, of Danville; and Mark, of Mount Vernon; one brother, Bill, of Lincoln, Neb.; five sisters, Mrs. Erna Mueller, of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Ilma Rosener, of Superior, Neb.; Mrs. Alma Kutz, of Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Vera Draeger and Mrs. Gertrude Many, both of Kansas City, Mo.
Services were at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
