LEVINER, GROVER C. — Services will be held in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel Thursday at 9 a.m. for Grover C. LeViner, 62, who died May 27. The Rev. Ted Stone of Fruitvale Community Church will officiate. Mr. LeViner was born in Sparks, Ga., and had resided in Bakersfield 28 years. He was a member of Scottish Rite Caldonia Lodge, Electrical Workers Local 428, past president of the National Electrical Contractors Associations and owner of LeViner Electric Co. Mr. LeViner is survived by the widow, Evelyn LeViner of Bakersfield; son, Jack, Bakersfield; 2 sisters, Daisy Tyson and Rodolph Holland, both of Florida; 4 brothers, Harmon, Woodrow and George of Florida and Lindsay of New York and 2 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frank Gifford, Joe Kristan, Bob Bruce, Hohn Bracchi, Ron Graffins and Dave Tubbs. Honorary bearers will be Tom Wilson, Jim Hill, Leroy Kinkaid, Herb Barnum, Cayrol Knizley, Glenn Russell, Tom Bryan, Mike Lina and Marvin Dooley. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
