Glenboro - Funeral service was held recently in Glenboro United Church for Frederick Joseph Calverley. Mr. Calverley was born in Ontario July 14 1873. He came to the Millford district with his father in 1882 and homesteaded. In 1905, he married Una Shepherd of Treesbank, and they lived in the Stockton district until 1918. They moved to Fair Valley and resided in that district until retirement in 1940. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Lena) Wayte, Mrs. A. J. (Vyvian) Outhwaite, Stockton; six grandchildren, sixteen grandchildren. His wife predeceased him in 1953.
