Her maternal grandparents were Reuben and Sarah (Sally ) Lamb McCarty . Her siblings were Grady Priddy ; Joe Merle Priddy ; William Priddy ; Tommy Priddy ; Carl (Jack ) Priddy ; Howard D. Priddy whose wife was "Ruby " Priddy ; John K. Priddy who married Myrtle Allen ; Mittie Lou Priddy Allen who married Will Anderson Allen ; Ila Priddy who married Roman Helms ; and Mildred E. Priddy Putt who married Sylvester Putt. Gertrude married Charles F. Taylor who was a widower with three children . Although Gertrude and Charles F. Taylor never had any children together , Gertrude was a loving stepmother , step grandmother , and step great grandmother . She was a woman full of life who had a good sense of humor .
