Her grandmother, Blanche Fosler and adoptive mother, Ruth Fosler helped raise her. She was a member of Zion Church in Freeport. Susan retired from Microswitch and had previously worked at Burgess Battery and Roy’s Fountain. She enjoyed ceramics, scary movies, and helping others before herself.
Susan is survived by her husband, Reginold of Freeport; her son, Steven of Freeport; her brother, Lee Rees of Rockford; and her sisters, Joann (Robert) Harris of Freeport and Donna (Jeff) Ladow of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Walker Mortuary in Freeport at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation before the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport.
