MRS. ODA CASE
(1874-1958)
Mrs. Etna Case, 83, of 1641 Offnere St., died at her home Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. after a three-year illness.
She was born Jan. 2, 1874, at Mt. Olivet, Ky., a daughter of V.V. and Mary Riggs Crawford.
She is survived by her husband, Oda; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Burton, 1641 Offnere St.; a sister, Mrs. Martha Dyer, 845 Enice St., Sciotoville; two grandchildren, Mrs. Wendel Wood of Lucasville and Atty. Everett Burton, 2132 Micklethwaite Rd., Scioto County Prosecutor; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and 11 brothers and sisters.
She was a member of First Christian Church, the Loyal Berean Class and Daughters of America.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wendel-Howland Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
