Joe Hundley, 86, of Little Rock, departed this life, Saturday, October 20, 2018. Mr. Hundley was a native of Hamburg. He graduated from White Hall High School and received degrees in English and Education from the Arkansas A&M College, now the University of Arkansas at Monticello. While working toward his degrees, Mr. Hundley served as a lay speaker for the Pine Bluff Arsenal Community Church. He received his Master’s degree and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Arkansas and began his teaching career at White Hall High School and later taught at Hamburg. Mr. Hundley was a High School Principal at Elkins and Lake Village High School, and served as an Educational Specialist at the Ouachita Baptist University where he conducted workshops throughout Arkansas. Mr. Hundley was an Instructor at the Federal Job Corp Program in Northwest Arkansas, Assistant Superintendent at White Hall High School and he ended his career as an Associate Professor of Education at UCA in Conway.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Dean Hundley and his sisters, Ruth Hundley Chapman and Mary Hundley Nichols.

He is survived by his sisters, Sarah Hundley Wilf and Betty Hundley Jones, his brother, Thomas Chase Hundley all of Little Rock and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial are 11 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Hammett Evans officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
