Manitowoc - Cecelia S. Peterson, age 107, who resided with her son and daughter-in-law: Jim & Debbie Peterson for the past three years, died Friday morning, October 19, 2018 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on October 12, 1911 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Zimmer) Sieracki. Cecelia was a graduate of St. Mary's Parochial Grade School, Manitowoc. On August 3, 1940 she married Royal A. Peterson at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1983. Cecelia was employed at Cher-Make Sausage Company in Manitowoc for many years until her retirement in 1983. She was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and Alan Budnik, Jean and Noel Hansen, all of Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Royal R. Peterson, Manitowoc, Jim and Debbie Peterson, Denmark; six grandchildren: Randy Budnik, Jeff (Darcy) Budnik, Jeremy Hansen and special friend April, Tina (Tom) Hoffman, Michael (Corey) Thuss, Nicole (Jayson) Haneiwich; and ten great grandchildren: Emily (special friend Justin) and Brent Budnik, Max and Sam Budnik, Leo Thelen, Chloe and Sophie Hoffman, Lissy, Maddie and Oliver Haniewich, Christopher, Abigail and Addison Thuss. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary and Woodrow Walker, Christine and Bill Becker; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Joseph and Erma Sieracki and Alex Sieracki; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Caroline (Metzger) Peterson; three sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law: Lola and Marvin Vollendorf, Gladys and Nels Petersen, Calla and Harold Weber, Joe Peterson and Harold Peterson.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 until 11:45 a.m.
