ADAMS, Barbara J. "Mom" age 67 of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1941 in Nuckolls, West Virginia and lived in Middletown for 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3458. Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Ada (Craft) Clark; her husband, Wathen W. "Woody" Adams in 1998; brothers, Daniel, Pete and Peto; and sisters, Irene and Louise. She is survived by four children, Kevin "Bear" (Debbie) Adams of Covington, Georgia, Denise Isaacs (David Czerpak) of Fairfield, Ohio, Kerry Adams of Middletown, Ohio and Keith (Robin) Adams of Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin Clark and Bubby Clark; four sisters, Marie Pritchard, Maudie Hughes, Grace Hughes and Annabelle Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, April 24, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Minnis Roy officiating. Interment will be at Elk Creek Cemetery in Madison Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
