Mrs. Delta Dawn Applegate, Age 46, of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Thursday October 18, 2018 at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Delta was born in Portsmouth, Ohio September 8, 1972 to the late Delbert and Beatrice Flinders Polley. Delta was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, decorating, and watching CSI. She loved spending time with children, especially her grandson Waylon.
Surviving is her husband Freddy Applegate; two sons, Austin (Jennia) Applegate, and Cody Applegate; one Grandson Waylon Applegate; seven sisters, Kathy Jordan, Lodena McGlone, Sheila (Jerry) Cooper, Lisa Mittic, Donna Polley, Missy (James) McClurg, and Sandra (Billy) Bell; and one brother Ray (Amanda) Polley.
Preceded in death beside her parents was a sister Tammy Lynn Polley.
Visitation will be Sunday October 21, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Funeral services will be held Sunday October 21, 2018 at 1:00pm with James McClurg officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gaydosfh.com
