Steve was a member of the Searcy First Assembly of God. He loved camping, fishing, quail hunting, auctions, his dog Bella, and spending time with his family. Steve will be greatly missed by all who knew and cared for him.
Steve is survived by one son; Steve Sterling Jr. (Melanie), one daughter; Rita Iglehart, one son-in-law; Danny Parsons, two sisters; Alda Hastings and Kaunita Ellison, six grandchildren; Hunter Sterling, Brent Vaughn, Jennifer Bowman, Danielle Hill, Brandi Iglehart, and Brooke Jamison, three great-grandchildren; Landon Hill, Knox Jamison, and Axel Vaughn.
In addition to his parents Steve is preceded in death by his faithful wife of many years; Anna Mae Sterling, one daughter; Debbie Parsons, four brothers; Eugene Sterling, Clarence Sterling, Willie Sterling, and Harold Sterling, six sisters; Mary Landis, Clarey Watkins, Evelyn Roberts, Louise Cranford, Pauline Watkins, and Alpha Sterling.
Visitation was Oct. 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Oct. 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Searcy First Assembly of God. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
