Clarence Edward Sterling, 84, of Judsonia, AR., died Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

He was born July 28, 1928, in Providence, AR., to the late Willie and Mary Cox Sterling.

Clarence served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, he was a 32 degree Mason and active in the Bald Knob and Little Rock Masonic Lodge; as well as a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane Newell of Searcy and Sharron Lee Sterling and her husband, David of McRae; grandchildren, Angie Huskey of Searcy and Jack Huskey and his wife Ellen of Lemasa, Texas; great-grand-daughter, Ashley Sterling; three brothers, Everett Sterling of Searcy, Harold Sterling of Royal City, Indiana and Steve Sterling of Searcy; three sisters, Pauline Watkins, Alda Hastings and Kaunita Ellison all of Judsonia.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Watkins Sterling; 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Services were conducted at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment was in White County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
