Lora P. Mervosh, 101, of Morton died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at her home.
Born Dec. 6, 1901, in Peoria to Winfield and Margaret Mansfield Kessinger, she married Emanuel "Mike" Mervosh on April 6, 1926, in Terre Haute, Ind. He died in January 1978.
Surviving are one son, Ted (and Phyllis) of East Peoria; two daughters, Georgia Basler of Morton and Rosalie Remington of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one son, Paul, one daughter, Dorothy McKinley, four brothers and three sisters.
She was a Gold Star mother.
Private graveside services will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
