Tommy was born Nov 10, 1927, in Bronte to the late Chester L. and Gussie Wringle Kiker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Joe Melton, and a brother Chester Kiker.
Survivors: Husband, Richard Melton of Hurst; daughter, Chester McQuerry of Haltom City; son, John E. Rohde of Weatherford; brother, Joe A. Kiker of Jerico Springs, Mo.; grandchildren, Donald and Shannon Rohde and Stacey Ellis; and great-grandchildren, Shauna, and Kyle Ellis.
