Janet devoted her life to God. She practiced her faith as a disciple of Jesus in her study of God's Word and her faithfulness in worship. Janet loved and adored her family and followed their many activities. She prayed so hard that all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior in their heart and live a life worthy of Christ. Spending time with her many friends and family brought her great pleasure. She was active as a volunteer in her church and community and especially enjoyed her many years as a volunteer in the gift shop at Memorial Hospital.
Janet is survived by her children, William (Jill) Te Winkle, Elkhart Lake, Kathryn (Fran) Charland, Kewaskum, Sandra (Mark) Vollbrecht, Howards Grove and James (Pamela Rezek) Te Winkle, Wilmette, IL; her grandchildren, Peter (Julie) Te Winkle, Kate (Chad) Meyer, Amber Donath, Christopher (Robin) Charland, Andrew Charland, Alex (Layci) Charland, Benjamin (Sara) Vollbrecht, Melissa (special friend Michael Viscione) Vollbrecht, Robert (fiancée Jenny Moehring) Vollbrecht, Max Rezek-Te Winkle and Kelly Rezek-Te Winkle; her great grandchildren, Wil, Joshua, Sydney, Samantha, Xoe, Colby, Emma, Olivia, Aydan and Axlyn; her siblings, Margaret (Ken) Elmergreen, Sussex, Peter Otte, Sheboygan, Andrew (Angeleka) Otte, NC and her sisters-in-law, Elsa (Harlan) Lokker and Marge Te Winkle. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She also loved her granddogs, Rocky and Duke.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Myrtle (Leonard) Olson and Marjorie Conley, her sister-in-law, Fran Otte and her brothers-in-law, Willard and Robert Te Winkle.
A funeral service will be held for Janet on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 11:30 AM at Hope Church (612 Ontario Ave, Sheboygan) with Rev. Bill Te Winkle and Rev. Kate Meyer officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the church, from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM. Private Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
