Hubert was born on May 13, 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Hubert Columbus Green and Clarice Bell (Kintchen) Green. He was a life-long resident of Blytheville.
He attended Ruddle Road Church of God. He retired as Warehouse Manager from Hubbard and Hoke.
Mr. Green’s family and friends say, in a loving way, that he was ornery. He loved to joke around and cut up. He enjoyed Face-timing, going to wrestling on Friday nights, and his St. Louis Cardinals! He loved playing country and gospel music and has played in a band locally with his brothers for years. He also loved to cook and grill out…and eat! He enjoyed fresh garden vegetables, especially cucumbers and tomatoes.
Hubert Leon Green, 61, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away at home on Monday morning October 15, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jessica Williams; five brothers: Dennie Green, Arlie Green, Tommy Green, Ronnie Green, and Billy Green.
He is survived by his significant other, Sherry Williams, of the home; one son, Jason (Jennifer) Green of Murfreesboro TN; two daughters: Tina (Gary) Myers and Kaila (Corey Hurt) Williams, all of Blytheville AR; six grandchildren: Austin Williamson, Ryan Williamson, Jenna Green, Parker Green, Maddie Green, and Cody Myers; four brothers: Roy (Joyce) Green, Elmer (Joyce) Green, Bobby (Patricia) Green, and Timmy (Shannon) Green, all of Blytheville AR; three sisters: Tammy (Chain) Quach and Wilma Byrd, all of Blytheville, and Barbara Sue (Anthony) Gray, of Branson MO; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 16 5:00- 7:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home, 1501 Byrum Road, Blytheville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery.
