Born to James and Dorothy Wilkinson in Portland, Tom was the second child of four along with his siblings, Ronald, Colleen and Robin. Tom passed away due to complications after a long fight with cancer.
Tom enjoyed a variety of things in life: garage and estate sales (probably the family's best known of his activities); going to pro wrestling matches with friends; music concerts with friends, camping with friends and family; almost anything as long as it included friends or family. He was planning a lengthy trip across the U.S. to visit family and friends in his new motorhome.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilkinson; and his sister, Robin Wilkinson. His mother, Dorothy Wilkinson, followed him in death a mere three weeks later.
Tom is survived by his brother, Ronald Wilkinson; and sister, Colleen Wilkinson; six nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces; his border collie, Matilda and his cockatiel, Jewel.
Tom will be interred at River View Cemetery in Portland. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Providence Foundations: Cancer Institute Fund.
A memorial service for Tom will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at City Bible Church, Rocky Butte Campus, 9200 N.E. Fremont St., Portland, OR 97220.
